The Gift from the Heart Foundation takes physically disabled children from abroad under its care.<\/p>\n

Over the past 20 years, the Gift from\u00a0the Heart Foundation\u00a0has helped several hundred children receive modern medical treatments from the highest quality clinics in the United States.<\/p>\n

The Gift from the Heart Foundation provides a range of services for local children and teenagers. Every program focuses on supporting parents and\u00a0creating new opportunities for children to grow healthy.<\/p>\n

As the foundation expanded its operations and built a beautiful new Children\u2019s Center, other opportunities arose, including educational workshops <\/a>for local children and teenagers with and without disabilities and summer camps for children.\u00a0\u00a0 \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

For children from abroad<\/strong>,\u00a0we help parents prepare and review the application for medical treatment in the United States and ensure its completeness before submitting it to the hospital or clinic.<\/p>\n

Once a child is admitted for treatment<\/strong>,\u00a0we apply\u00a0for a visa for the child and guardian as well as for\u00a0discounted airline tickets.<\/p>\n

We stay\u00a0in contact with the hospital<\/strong> and\u00a0serve as liaisons between the hospital and the guardian and child awarded the treatment.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival<\/strong>, we provide all available accommodations at our Children\u2019s Center in Schiller Park, including lodging, food, transportation and translation services for the time of the treatment. Whenever possible, we provide rehabilitation equipment, orthopedics and medicine.<\/p>\n

Depending on the availability, the child and guardian are invited to various local events. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n
