 <\/strong>Art for Heart is back for its seventh year benefitting Gift from the Heart Foundation (Dar Serca) and the Polish Museum of America: Saturday September 9th<\/sup> to Saturday September 30th<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n

Chicago, IL–The Polish Museum of America and Gift from the Heart Foundation (Dar Serca) are celebrating the 7th<\/sup> year of Art for Heart- a collaboration with the support of Artists & the Community, raising awareness of two important missions.<\/p>\n

The Opening reception takes place on Saturday, September 9th<\/sup> from 7 to 11pm<\/strong>, in the Polish Museum of America\u2019s Sabina P. Logisz Great Hall.  This is the first opportunity for the public to enjoy the exhibit and purchase artwork. The event features music by DJ MC Mietek Entertainment, hors d\u2019oeuvres, and a cash bar. Guests will also have a chance to mix and mingle with the artists.<\/p>\n

The Polish Museum of America is located at 984 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago\u2019s Noble Square neighborhood and offers free parking in the museum\u2019s lot. Tickets will be $20 and can be purchased at the door.  All original artwork as well as prints will also be available for purchase.  100% of the proceeds jointly benefit Gift from the Heart Foundation (Dar Serca) and The Polish Museum of America.<\/p>\n

The art works will be available for viewing through Saturday, September 30th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Gift from the Heart Foundation\/Dar Serca, is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization that helps children with disabilities receive the medical treatment that they urgently need. The Foundation brings seriously ill and disabled children from European countries to the US and helps them receive high-quality medical care and treatments that are unattainable in their home countries. Over the past 25 years, Gift from the Heart Foundation has helped hundreds children receive modern medical treatments from the highest-quality clinics in the United States.<\/p>\n

The Polish Museum of America, a 501 (c) 3 cultural institution, is one of the oldest and largest ethnic museums in the United States; and offers visitors a range of exhibits, resources and activities related to Polish history, culture and heritage, as well as Polish-American history. Its all-inclusive exhibits and cultural events are both educational and entertaining while supporting the entire community. It\u2019s Library and extensive Archives have rendered invaluable services to historians, researchers, students and genealogists.<\/p>\n
